Eligibility Criteria

3.Marital Status:
●Cannot have a marital or de facto relationship in Colombia.
4.Program Participation:
●Must not have been a previous beneficiary of the Beca Colombia Program.
5.Age:
●Must be 50 years or younger.
6.Academic Record:
●Minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0 on Colombia’s 5.0 scale (or its equivalent based on the applicant’s country).
7.Education Level:
●Hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in any field.
8.Admission:
●Must secure admission to 1–3 postgraduate programs listed in the Academic Offer Catalog 2025-2.
9.Health:
●Provide medical certification of good physical and mental health.

Scholarship Benefits
Selected candidates will enjoy the following benefits:
1.Tuition Fees:
●100% coverage by participating Colombian Higher Education Institutions for the program duration.
2.Health Insurance:
●Comprehensive medical and hospital assistance, including repatriation in case of disability or death.
3.Monthly Stipend:
●Equivalent to three minimum Colombian wages to support living expenses.
4.Courtesy Visa:
●Assistance with obtaining a type “V” visitor visa through Colombian consulates.
5.Foreigner Identification:
●A one-time financial support of 250,000 COP for immigration card issuance, granted during the first stipend disbursement.
