Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the McCall MacBain Scholarship, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

1.Be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and able to complete it by August 2026.
2.Have earned a bachelor’s degree between January 2020 and December 2025.
3.Hold a bachelor’s degree obtained before January 2020 and be 30 years old or younger in 2025.

Applicants must also meet the academic and language requirements for their chosen program at McGill University.

English Language Proficiency Requirements

Applicants whose primary language is not English must demonstrate proficiency through one of the following:

TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 86 (with no section below 20).
IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5 or higher.

Exemptions:
No language proof is needed if:

English is your first language.
You hold or are about to complete a degree where English is the primary language of instruction.
You’ve lived, studied, or worked for at least four consecutive years in an English-speaking country.
