Applications are now open for the METI Government of Japan Internship 2026 in Japan.
This fully funded internship is offered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry through the METI Japan Internship Program (JIP).
The program gives international students and graduates the chance to gain work experience in Japanese companies.
In 2026, around 80 interns will be placed in 80 companies across Japan for a six-week internship.
There is no application fee, and IELTS is not required.
