💡 About the MCW Young Leaders Fellowship

The MCW Young Leaders Fellowship (YLF) empowers young people to become change-makers in their communities through leadership development, global exchange, and practical project implementation.

The fellowship is built around three main phases:

1️⃣ Virtual Community Needs Assessment (1 Month)

Before traveling to the U.S., fellows complete a virtual module to map and assess the key challenges in their local communities. Participants learn problem-identification tools and leadership strategies.

2️⃣ In-Person Program in the USA (10 Days)

In July 2026, fellows gather in New York and Burlington, Vermont, for an immersive 10-day training. Here, they refine their project ideas with mentorship, attend workshops, and exchange ideas with global peers.

3️⃣ Virtual Project Implementation

After returning home, fellows work on implementing their proposed community projects with continued virtual mentorship and MCW support.
